I began working in bronze in 1998 while in graduate school. There was no stone facility in the greater vicinity and ultimately bronze proved to be an interesting and appropriate medium for the anatomical and figurative research I was exploring at the time. I have worked in foundries in Rhode Island, Pietrasanta and Rome, engaging in each aspect of the process of creation, from the original clay model to the final patina of the bronze.
